Fundamental Right to Religious Liberty is Threatened:  The new policy of the US Department of Health and Human Services will require Catholic employers to offer health coverage that includes sterilization, abortion-inducing drugs and contraceptions that go against the Church's sexual and biomedical teachings.  Bishop Matthew Clark has asked for all communities to commit to prayer and fasting that true religious liberty might be restored and secondly that Catholics inform themselves of the issue by visiting www.usccb.org/conscience to learn more about the issue and how we might respond appropriately.
